Origins

Husqvarna Vapenfabriks and its motorcycle division

Read the manufacturer through the machines that changed its engineering, racing, design, market or cultural meaning.

The Husqvarna industrial company began motorcycle production in 1903. Off-road competition later became the brand’s defining arena, particularly in motocross and enduro. Ownership changed repeatedly, but the Husqvarna name continued to move between competition motorcycles and distinctive road machines such as the Nuda, 701 and Norden.
