Origins

The Benelli family

Read the manufacturer through the machines that changed its engineering, racing, design, market or cultural meaning.

The Benelli family established a repair workshop in Pesaro in 1911. Motorcycle manufacturing and racing followed, and the company became known for technically adventurous machines. The 750 Sei made six-cylinder production a road-bike spectacle in the 1970s; later revivals produced the Tornado Tre, TNT and modern Leoncino and TRK families.
